I've transformed "Th1nk Lik3 a H4cker" into a much bigger, fully-interactive, Laravel Security Workshop that I'm calling "Let's Hack!", and one of my goals for this year is to get it out there and start running it for dev teams, and community groups! I strongly believe this interactive workshop format is the best way to teach these hacking skills to developers, so they can learn how to recognise and test vulnerabilities in their own apps, and get them properly fixed before an attacker comes along!
Since a lot of AU and NZ Laravel folks are coming together for Laracon AU in Brisbane, it feels like the perfect time to put together a public workshop - so everyone can come and learn how to be a hacker and protect their apps!
Given folks travelling and work budgets, I'm thinking one of the days right before Laracon AU, most likely the morning of Wednesday, 12th November 2025. I'm looking for a suitable venue near the Laracon venue, so you'll just need to come a day early, stay near both venues and have a great 3 days.
If you're coming to Laracon AU (or are in Brisbane) and are interested in attending the workshop, sign up and I'll keep you updated on what's happening!
